If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like parachuting into a crowd of over 75,000 people, here’s your chance. This is a first-person video of the Denver Broncos Thunderstorm parachuting team jumping into Sports Authority Field at Mile High for the NFL’s AFC Championship game last Sunday. This would be an absolutely awesome job. Not only is the team probably allowed to stay and watch the game for free, but their stadium entrance is the most dramatic and stylish of anyone at the game, including the players. Peyton Manning may have thrown for over 400 yards during the game, but he still came to and went from the stadium in a car. These guys showed up parachuting into the stadium from thousands of feet up.
For those who don’t like heights, you’ll probably get a little sick to your stomach when the jumper at the door is dangling his head and shoulders out of the airplane giving the pilot directions. The jump gives an amazing aerial view of downtown Denver and the surrounding areas, and the stadium looks like an orange and gray bowl when they first jump. But as the team is parachuting and getting closer to the field, more and more detail from the stadium starts to take shape. As they make their approach, you can hear the roar of the crowd, and before you know it, they’re standing on the field in the middle of over 75,000 excited fans. This video is so cool.
