Liam Neeson is a fan favorite in action films. He isn’t some big muscular meathead or martial arts expert, but he plays a serious, worldly tough guy like no one else. His action action movie characters are the types that take out the bad guys using their brains more than anything else. Plus, he’s in his 60s, which is pretty hardcore for an action hero. He’s got a new movie coming out in February called Non-Stop. The premise is that Neeson plays a U.S. air marshal on an international flight from New York to London. He starts getting anonymous text messages that threaten to kill someone on the plane every 20 minutes unless a $150 million ransom is paid. No good. Might Mr. Neeson be required to kill some villains? Probably. The only problem is that Neeson gets set up as the hijacker.
Liam Neeson isn’t the only actor in his 60s coming out with a new action movie this year. Arnold Schwarzenegger has a movie called Sabotage being released in April. I’m a fan of these older action heroes in movies. It makes you think that no matter what age you’re at in life, you can still take out a platoon of terrorists or an entire drug cartel, which is a good feeling. It helps you stay young at heart and all that. Non-Stop is in theaters February 28, 2014, and it also stars Julianne Moore. Checkout the trailer below. If you like it, ‘Share’ it.
