Do you find yourself worrying all the time and feeling dissatisfied with your station in life? Do you wish you could have accomplished more? Is the anxiety and constant disappointment finally pushing you to the breaking point? If so, just take the advice of this audiobook and give up. Ahh, that’s better. What a relief! I actually don’t know what giving up feels like, because that’s for sissies, but this commercial for a fake audiobook is pretty funny. It’s from Pleated Jeans, the same folks who taught us that tacos are the best antidepressant. In this one, they take the opposite angle of most motivational audiobooks and encourage the book listeners to forget their hopes and dreams and just give up.
We like to celebrate Mannish Stuff at GuyLyf, and giving up isn’t too manly. At the same time though, most people have probably gotten close to their giving up point at least one or twice in their lives, but most are able to pull themselves back together and get on with it. The people who enjoy this fake audiobook are those who have tried and tried to achieve more than mediocrity, but they just can’t do it. So why not listen to the audiobook and give themselves permission to not try anymore? If anything, the thought processes of the people in the video are so silly, that listening to them can help someone stay motivated in real life. Who would want to end up sounding like one of these people? Check it out below. If you like it, ‘Share’ it.
